LIONKING BIG PRIMATE SAFARIS, 12 DAYS

The 12 day trip brings you to the big primate safari of Uganda, where the savannah meets the tropical rainforest. Expect to see some of the unique and interesting animals of the savannahs like lion, elephant, buffalo, giraffe, hippo, and leopard among other and up to 13 primate species, including gorillas and chimpanzees. The above safari gives you chance to visit the most important and well known national parks of Uganda: Murchison Falls National Park, Kibale Forest National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Bwindi National Park, Lake Bunyonyi and Lake Mburo National Park.

Day 1:

Entebbe - Kampala Welcome to Uganda, you will be picked by our guide from Entebbe International Airport for Accommodation in Kampala with sight-seeing of Kampala Capital city of Uganda. Day 2:

Kampala - Murchison Falls National Park After your breakfast, we leave for Murchison Falls National Park, with optional visit to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for Rhino tracking and proceed to Murchison Falls via the Top of the falls. Day 3:

Murchison Falls National Park Early morning game drive in Northern circuit of the Park and afternoon have an unforgettable boat cruise to the bottom of the Falls. Medium range accommodation: Pakuba lodge / Fort Murchison (FB) High range accommodation: Paraa safari/ Baker’s lodge

Day 4:

Murchison Falls National Park- Kibale National Park After breakfast have a long drive to Fort Portal via Western Rift valley escapement through Bunyoro Kitara Kingdom and arrive at the foot of the mountain of the Moon, enjoy the atmosphere of Fort Portal town. Day 5:

Kibale National Park Today after your very early, depart for Chimpanzee Habituation Experience, this is a lifetime experience that allows accompany Kibale’s researchers and habituation at chimpanzee during their daily activities, thereby getting used to human presence without changing their natural. During your tour, expect coming across the chimps de-nesting (in their nocturnal nests) between 05:30 to 6:30, before them throughout the day till they make new nests and the night around 19.00. Day 6:

Kibale Forest- Queen Elizabeth National Park (Mweya sector) Today, we drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park with mysterious view of the mountain of the moon. On our way, we pass on the equator famous for photo. Optional visit to Katwe the salt or evening game drive. Day 7:

Queen Elizabeth National Park (Mweya sector) Early morning game drives and boat trip along Kazinga channel in the afternoon. Medium range accommodation: Kasenyi Game lodge / Bush lodge (FB) High range accommodation: Mweya safari Lodge/ Kyambura game lodge (FB)

Day 8:

Queen Elizabeth National Park - Bwindi Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park the home of the mountain Gorilla. Day 9:

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Very early go for briefing and proceed for gorilla tracking. Day 10:

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park- Lake Bunyonyi After your relax breakfast, proceed to Lake Bunyonyi, one of the dippiest lake in Uganda and place for relaxation. Day 11:

Lake Bunyonyi- Lake Mburo Today, we drive to Lake Mburo national park with lunch stop on the way and arrive for a 1 hour boat in the afternoon. Distance: 210 km (about 3hours) Medium range accommodation: Rwackobo Rock / Mburo safari lodge /Arcadia cottage (FB) High range accommodation: Mihingo lodge / Mantana Tented camp / (FB)

Day 12:

Lake Mburo –Kampala or Entebbe early morning game walk to get face to face with animal or horseback in the morning, after your lunch and return to Kampala or Entebbe with stopover at Equator for photo and experiment. Depending on your flight schedule, transfer to Entebbe for your departure flight. Distance: 350 km (about 5hours) Note: Accommodations shall be based on client selection (luxury, Medium or low budget. All lodges have self-contained rooms and are selected as per the interest of the client.
